Chapter Eagle Scout Honorees 

This highly successful program was initiated in the early 1980's.  Evidence of its rapid, consistent growth is the fact that 10,000 NSSAR certificates are given each year to newly made Eagle Scouts.  All proceeds from the program are paid for with earnings generated by funds in the Eagle Scout Scholarship Foundation.

Summer 1991At the 101st Annual SAR National Congress Eagle Scout Gregory A. Moody, the Gainesville Chapter nominee, was presented a $4000 scholarship.  Eagle Scout Moody, from Chiefland, Florida was selected from 42 state nominees.
